Viessmann Vitotron 100 8kw Electric Boiler
Introducing the Viessmann Vitotron 100 *kw electric boiler.
The Vitotron 100 is a perfect suit to small apartments, with its 8kw out put this enough to run up to 6 radiators at approx 1.2 kw per rad. Because the boiler is fully electric there is no need for a flue like a traditional gas boiler which has many benefits to include, if height is an issue in the apartment with a traditional gas boiler you may have to erect scaffolding on the exterior to fit the flue and install the condense pipe to the exterior drain. With the electric boiler there is no condense waste pipe and is 100% efficient.

Generally we fit the electric boiler beside the hot water cylinder, we install the supplied 3 port valve that separates the heating from the hot water. The hot water works on a priority basis meaning that the radiators cannot heat the same time as the hot water. For example, you could schedule your hot water for 5.00am – 6.00am in the morning and a heating schedule for any time after that period.
An external control for central heating will have to be installed, we recommend the EPH digital clock and wireless room thermostat as basic control or a Google nest thermostat for control and remote access.
The unit itself requires a 10sqmm cable from the fuse board to an isolator switch at the appliance for power. Upon inspection we send our electrician to check the fuseboard to see if the application is suitable.
