The Viessmann 4 pipe priority Hot water setup is the most efficient way to heat water in your home
Did you know, the most efficient way of Heating Hot water through your hot water tank is by utilising the Viessmann 4 pipe priority hot water setup.
All Viessmann boilers are capable of providing separate hot water to a hot water cylinder, they have two separate connections on the under side of the boiler. Two connections are for Heating and two connections are for hot water, to be directly connected to the coil in your hot water tank.
There is a separate hot water temperature sensor that is connected to the boiler and the hot water cylinder. When the temperature of the hot water drops by approx 5 degrees the sensor sends a signal for the boiler to fire up and reheat the hot water tank at a high temperature very quickly, this is much more energy efficient than letting the temperature drop to say 15 or 20 degrees.
The boiler would then have to use much more energy to Heat water from 20 degrees to 60 degrees.
The benefit of this is the Hot water cylinder is always Hot so you never run out of hot water.
The 4 pipe priority hot water setup is compatible with all cylinders to include Vented copper cylinders, Unvented pressurized hot water cylinders etc. Ranging from 100 litre to 500 litre depending on the the demand for Hot water.
The temperature of the water can also be controlled for the front main panel of the Viessmann boiler and can be completely turned off or adjusted to the temperature required in the hot water tank.
The temperature can also be adjusted on the Viessmann Vi care app. All of the new model Viessmann boilers have on board wifi which the Vi care app can be downloaded and control temperature, adjust curves for weather compensation mode etc.
